Camilla Black, MSW LSW is a dedicated mental health professional at the Champaign at the Crossing clinic. She provides services to individuals aged 12 and above, as well as families. She earned her Masters of Social Work from the University of Denver in 2019 and has since been passionately assisting clients in a person-centered and collaborative manner throughout their life stages. She has a special ability to connect with parents, families, and students.

Camilla has had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations in different environments. Her previous roles include being a school-based therapist in St Paul, Minnesota, and Denver, CO. These experiences have endowed her with a profound understanding of the unique strengths and requirements of each client.

Camilla employs an integrative approach in her practice, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness practices, and strengths-based interventions to provide the most effective support to her clients. She holds certifications in CPR and Nonviolent Crisis Prevention & Intervention Training. Additionally, she offers Christian counseling if requested.

Beyond her professional commitments, Camilla finds joy and inspiration in art, media, and gardening. Whether it’s painting, discovering new films and media, or nurturing her garden, these activities contribute to her overall balance. These interests along with a passion for traveling to new places, allows Camilla to bring a creative and grounded perspective to work with clients.
