Brent Scott, MA
Mental Health Counselor
Brent Scott holds a Master of Arts degree in Addiction Counseling. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and has plans to pursue a doctorate degree in General Psychology. Brent will be based at the Danville office.
Brent is deeply passionate about helping others in their recovery journey and brings both practical experience and a strong educational background to his work. Brent served eight years in the United States Army. He is a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt through Villanova University, specializing in defect reduction in products and processes through rigorous root cause analysis.
In his approach to counseling, Brent believes in placing the client at the forefront, acknowledging their expertise in their own lives. He takes a person-centered approach, allowing clients to guide the direction of therapy while providing support and guidance as needed. Brent offers individual, couple, and family counseling services, with Christian counseling available upon request.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Brent enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife of 39 years, three sons, three daughters-in-law, and nine grandchildren. He also finds joy in fitness, hiking, fishing, and woodworking.
